Meet the Apprentice

Name: Lee Parker

Age: 19

Role: Apprentice CNC Machine Operative

Likes: Cars, spending time with family, gaming

Dislikes: Pretty much all food (Fussy), Nissan Qashqai

Goals: To become a fully trained (NVQ Level 3) CNC Machinist.

Why an Apprenticeship?

Lee feels as though this is the best route for him. He is gaining real hands on work experience & skills, whilst also getting paid.

Advice for anyone thinking about an apprenticeship?

GO FOR IT! – Training, experience and you get paid!

Age: 17

Role: Apprentice CNC Machine Operative

Likes: Friday bacon sarnie, model tank building, army cadets, gaming

Dislikes: Football, Nissan Qashqai

Goals: To get a Defender 110 and fit a push rod V8 in it. Otherwise still figuring it out!

Why an Apprenticeship?

Felt university was not for him (solo/self motivated study). Prefers the mentor/hands on approach.

Why Bignall Group?

Previously undertook work experience with Bignall so knew & liked the business.

Advice for anyone thinking about an apprenticeship?
